Hoje ouvindo a música Vincent, cantada por Don McLean e baseada na obra do grande pintor holandês Vincent Willem Van Gogh, "Starry night" (noite estrelada), observando a beleza da letra, resolvi escrever algumas linhas sobre o grande Van Gogh.
De cordo com as pesquisas na Internet o pintor nasceu na Holanda em 1853 e faleceu na França, através de uma tentativa bem sucedida de autoextermínio, em 1890.
O que pude observar nas imagens de suas obras, disponíveis na Internt, denotam grande sofrimento interior. Uma eterna angústia, talvez desencadeada por problemas fisiológicos ou psíquicos. Todavia, o seu grande gênio poderia, nas suas "entranhas" produzir uma imagem de um mundo que não nos seja possível penetrar. Um sofrimento lancinante deve tê-lo acompanhado durante anos de sua existência. A sua tendência para as cores fortes às quais atribuia significados, a sua visão sombria das paisagens, às vezes chocante, pode ser uma tentativa de externar a angústia de uma visão altamente sensível dos mundo. O riscos tracejados, aos quais atribuo, por minha conta, extremo sentimento de ansiedade, culminando em um certo desejo de abreviar o fim do trabalho, parece significar as tempestades como percebia os acontecimentos.
Oh! como sofreu Vincent até o momento em que se libertou desta existência...
